Evolutionary Multi-Objective Optimization for Web Service Location Allocation Problem

With the ever increasing number of functionally similar web services being available on Internet, market competition is becoming intense. Web service providers (WSPs) realize that good Quality Service (QoS) a key business success and low network latency critical measurement QoS. Because related to location, straightforward way reduce allocate proper locations. However, Location Allocation Problem (WSLAP) challenging task since there are multiple objectives potentially conflicting with each other solution search space has combinatorial nature. In this paper, we consider minimizing total cost simultaneously model WSLAP as multi-objective optimization problem. We develop new PSO-based algorithm provide set trade-off solutions. The results show can more diverse range solutions than compared three well known algorithms. Moreover, performs better especially large problems.
